Jess & Jack’s Autumn Wedding at Southend Barns, West Sussex
Jess & Jack were married in early October, just as the leaves began turning those beautiful golden yellows, rich earthy browns and vibrant oranges. The perfect backdrop for their colour palette of soft, neutral autumn tones. Their choice of season and styling blended seamlessly with their venue, the charmingly rustic Southend Barns, nestled in the heart of the South Downs.
From the start, Jess & Jack were determined to make their day feel truly “them,” weaving personal touches and meaningful traditions through every moment. Their adorable dog Norman proudly took on the role of ring bearer, looking very dapper in his little wedding outfit and melting everyone’s hearts.
In true Jess & Jack style, they swapped the traditional cake for a prosecco tower, a fun, fizz-filled way to kick off the evening and the perfect moment for relaxed, joyful photos. Guests roasted s’mores around the fire pit, enjoyed a delicious vegan-inspired menu created with the incredible Roots Catering team, and soaked up an atmosphere overflowing with laughter, warmth and celebration.
Jack’s sage green tweed suit and the bridesmaids’ champagne silk dresses paired beautifully with the delicate dried flower bouquets and buttonholes in burnt orange. Adding the perfect pop of autumnal colour. And Jess looked effortlessly stunning in her fitted A-line gown with its low back and delicate leaf-embellished veil, a gorgeous nod to both the season and her naturally warm, glowing personality.
The weather gave us the dreamiest mix of soft light, long green grasses, falling leaves and a warm sunset. The ideal backdrop to slip away with the couple for some quiet, romantic portraits that reflected their connection so beautifully.
Then it was back to the party, where the prosecco tower sparkled, the dance floor was buzzing with some fantastic moves, and the barns glowed under twinkling fairy lights and timeless party classics. The perfect end to a day that was unmistakably, wonderfully Jess & Jack.

Rebecca & Dudley’s Spring Wedding at The Weald & Downland Living Museum, West Sussex.
This wasn’t your typical Wedding Story… Back in 2024, these two entered and WON! the ‘Win a Wedding’ competition with @v2radioofficial. As part of their prize they claimed some incredible packages and extras from a team of talented local wedding suppliers.
Rebecca & Dudley took that lucky win and built upon it to create the relaxed, family-friendly wedding day they’d always dreamed of, and so, in early May, we had the joy of photographing a beautiful spring wedding at the historic Weald and Downland Living Museum, set in the heart of the South Downs.
With incredible weather on our side, their outdoor marquee wedding came to life. Guests sipped cold drinks in the sunshine while children ran freely through the fields, the whole day radiating warmth, fun and effortless charm.
Food, drink and music were at the top of their priority list and they nailed it. A classic English BBQ, a delicious wedding cake, and ice-cold beers kept everyone happy, while Doug from @toastliveevents brought the dance
floor to life with an epic DJ set as the sun dipped behind the hills.
Their colour palette of dusky pink and ivory paired beautifully with the groom and groomsmen’s classic navy suits, echoing the soft, rustic charm of the day. Rebecca’s dress, with its delicate detail, sparkled in the sunshine and brought just the right touch of bridal magic to this relaxed celebration.
We made sure to capture every little detail, and one of our favourite moments was sneaking away for golden hour portraits in a stunning field of dandelions. A once-a-year scene that added a little extra magic to their wedding story.

Harley and Jack’s Spring Upwaltham Barns Wedding
We were up against the elements on Harley and Jack’s wedding day at the dreamily picturesque Upwaltham Barns set in the rolling West Sussex countryside in April. Just moments before we took this stunning image we were sheltering from a brief yet gusty snow storm!
Along with the excitement of the rarity of snow on a wedding day, Mother Nature also gifted a glorious sunset allowing us to orchestrate a scene encompassing this stylish couple against the venue’s epic vista making their iconic ‘Upwaltham Hill’ image all the more precious.
We lined up the camera as the sun cast its rays onto Harley and together with the flare of the lens threw this happy bride into the limelight. The warming glow enhances the beautiful flow of her intricate lace dress and flowing train as it echoes the shape of her artistically styled curly updo, as Jack chases his bride across the lush grasses and together they chase the sun.
